Title: Conservation in the Blue River Watershed: Leveraging ArcGIS Online and Microsoft Power BI to create interactive Dashboards and reports.

Abstract: The Oka Institute, in partnership with the Chickasaw Nation and The Oaks and Prairies Joint Venture, is working towards implementing 15,000 acres of conservation in the Blue River Watershed through a Bureau of Indian Affairs Grant. Leveraging ESRI Field Maps, Map Viewer, Dashboards, Experience Builder, and Microsoft Power BI, Oka has been able to efficiently track, manage, and report on conservation activities throughout the watershed.

Title:  The Chickasaw Nation GeoSpatial Information: Advancing Drone Technology and Disaster Mapping

Abstract: The Chickasaw Nation’s GeoSpatial Information has developed a dynamic drone program that serves a wide range of tribal departments and initiatives. This presentation will provide an executive overview of the program’s capabilities, highlight key projects across the Nation, and showcase the innovative applications of drone technology in geospatial analysis. In addition, the discussion will examine the GSI’s role in natural disaster mapping across the United States, emphasizing how aerial data collection supports rapid assessment, resource allocation, and recovery efforts in impacted communities.
