Free TCC GIS Summer Camps!

The TCC GIS program will offer two summer camps next month at the Tarrant County College Trinity River Campus. Funded by Texas Governor’s Summer Merit Program, this free offering will give students (13-21 years old and enrolled in middle or high school) the opportunity to familiarize themselves with GIS occupations in each summer camp through hands-on experiences and interaction with geospatial experts.

Dates:  July 17-20, 2023
Days:  Monday-Thursday
Times: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Dates:  July 24-27, 2023

Students will obtain insights through interaction with guest speakers from Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD), Tarrant County, and CoAct North Texas, a non-profit organization for disadvantaged local neighborhoods.
