Elevations with GPS will provide useful information about methods of determining accurate vertical positions with GPS tools. The relationship between the NAD83 ellipsoid and NAVD88 will be explained along with some practical application of the Geoid09 model. GPS will be brought down to earth with examples that illustrate use of the most modern procedures for vertical control surveys. Examples will reveal the cost of cutting corners and the potential for success. Examination of results will explain why Phil often says, "The proof is in the dirt!"

This seminar will be a half-day (9:00AM-Noon) and 3 PDH will be awarded to each attendee. Beverages and a snack will be provided during break
