Esri Technical Certification: Skills Review for ArcGIS Desktop Associate (ESRI 2 days) – $850 - Only 3 Seats Left

This 2-day course is one excellent way to begin preparing for the Esri Technical Certification Exam for ArcGIS Desktop Associate.  You will get an overview of all the topics covered on the exam and can identify areas in which you should focus before taking the test.  This class is also a great refresher for anyone who has used ArcGIS Desktop in the past, but needs a review to brush up on your skills.

Class will be held on October 26 - 27, 2011 from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Creating Effective Web Applications Using ArcGIS Server - (ESRI 2 days) – $850 - Class is Full. We are no longer accepting registrations for this training.

If you wish to learn how to create web mapping applications but you aren’t an experienced developer, then this is the class for you!  In this two-day class, you’ll learn how to leverage samples and templates to create professional-looking web maps without writing any code from scratch.  Students have the option of completing their course exercises in either the Flex, JavaScript or Silverlight/WPF environments.

ArcGIS Basics II - (Pamela Jurney 2 days) - $400

ArcGIS Basics II Class is Full. We are no longer accepting registrations for this training class.

This two-day training course is designed to improve the basic skills of those who are familiar with ESRI ArcGIS 9.3 software.  A working knowledge of ArcMap is required.  Highlights of the course include style management, tools in ArcToolbox, additional toolbars, editing, more with geodatabases, data production, and data analysis.  Students will learn how to customize their ArcMap interface, practice basic and more advanced editing techniques, and create sophisticated map layouts.

The course is taught by Pamela Jurney of Red Plains Professional, Inc.  Pamela has an extensive background in education as well as GIS experience.  She taught secondary mathematics for seven years in the public school system, received a master’s of geography from Oklahoma State University (2006), and has been involved with GIS education for rural schools and tribal and local governments.  She is currently the GIS Project Coordinator for Red Plains, a Native American owned civil engineering firm based in Edmond, Oklahoma.
