ArcGIS 9.3.1 improves map publishing and increases the ease of sharing geographic information. In this section, you’ll learn how to

  • Produce high-performance, dynamic maps and services.
  • Easily access ready-to-use content and share what you create; for example, see how to share content with an enhanced user experience including high-quality Bing Maps.
  • Use the ESRI Resource Center application templates that give you a jump start in Web mapping, desktop workflows, storing and managing data, and more.

ArcGIS 9.4 is a major release designed to help you perform your GIS work faster. In this section, you’ll see how to

  • Make use of ArcGIS Desktop advancements including faster access to common tools, more responsive drawing, and workflow automation.
  • Leverage the editing experience of ArcGIS 9.4, which was dramatically improved with a sketch-based editing environment and a service that allows you to edit the geodatabase online.
  • Use important imagery components including on-the-fly image processing and mosaicking and fast, flexible raster display.
