Charles Brady III has been involved with SCAUG for over 10 years. Charles worked for the Garvin County Assessors Office & Carroll Land Surveying while attending college at East Central University. He graduated from East Central University with a bachelor degree in Cartography in 1999 and has worked for the City of Ardmore as the G.I.S. Coordinator since 2000. During this time Charles has served on both the Oklahoma Chapter SCAUG Steering Committee & the Regional Board of SCAUG in various positions. Charles & his wife of 11 years Penni have 2 children, a 7 year old son Charles IV & a 4 year old daughter Calin.
Shellie Willoughby, GISP

Shellie Willoughby is the current Vice President for SCAUG. Shellie is the GIS Specialist for the Oklahoma Conservation Commission for which she has worked for the past 11 years. She also serves as the Assistant State Geographic Information Coordinator for the Oklahoma Office of Geographic Information. While working for the Oklahoma Conservation Commission she has been involved in the coordination efforts of the Oklahoma GI Council, the Oklahoma Office of Geographic Information and has coordinated the nationally recognized GIS Day at Capitol for the past 8 years. She has a Bachelor and Masters of Science degree in Geography from Oklahoma State University.
As a member of SCAUG for 11 years Shellie has served on the SCAUG Board in various positions for the past 6 years as well as held multiple positions in the Oklahoma Chapter of SCAUG. Shellie loves to travel with her family and has been to 42 of the 50 states. Shellie resides in Guthrie, OK with the two favorite men in her life, her husband and little boy.
James Allen

James Allen graduated from East Central University in 2005 with a Degree in Cartography/Geography. He has been employed as the GIS Coordinator for Carter County, OK for 4 years. James works with many departments throughout the county assisting in their GIS needs and applications ranging from parcel mapping & addressing to emergency management to name a few. He has been a member of SCAUG for 4 years.

Katy Rich

Katy recently started working as a Senior GIS Analyst for Chesapeake Midstream, a subsidiary of Chesapeake Energy, in their Oklahoma City office. Prior to that she was the GIS Coordinator for the Oklahoma State Department of Health from 2006 - 2010. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Master of Arts in Geography with specialization in GIS and has worked with GIS for 6 years. Her favorite thing about GIS is its usefulness as a tool for countless industries and professions. She loves sharing her excitement about GIS with others. Katy and her husband, Jamie, have two sons, Rowan (5) and Gaian (2.5).
Joe Chapa, GISP

Joe Chapa is the current past president for SCAUG. Joe is the Project Manager for the City of New Braunfels, Texas. In my current position, I oversee the implementation and integration of Asset and Land Management with GIS. Prior to arriving to the City of New Braunfels, Joe was Director of GIS for the City of San Antonio. The team I managed developed and established an enterprise GIS system that included 36 department and 200+ GIS users.
Joe also worked for the South Florida Water Management District - SFWMD. There Joe, developed GIS viewing tools for pre and post hydrologic models in ESRI software. Member of SFWMD - Emergency Management Office that provided GIS support for South Florida which included sixteen counties from Orlando to Key West, Florida. Involved with Hurricane recovery starting with Hurricane Andrew in 1992 through Floyd in 1999, and Value Jet - Flight 192 that exploded over the Everglades. He has been a member of SCAUG since 2001.

Lydia Sauceda, GISP

Lydia Sauceda is the Manager for the mapping department at CPS Energy, the local utility company in San Antonio, Texas where she has worked for the past two and a half years. Lydia retired from the Bexar Appraisal District in San Antonio Texas after 24 years of service. She was the GIS Supervisor for the B.A.D. GIS Department for 11 years. She started her GIS career in 1989 before hand was updating maps using a mechanical pencil, compass, and protractors since then has been successfully updating, maintaining, and managing a successful Enterprise GIS system. Lydia has witnessed first hand the dramatic impact GIS has made on the local community.
Lydia has a Bachelors degree in Geography and in addition to her full time job is attending night classes to pursue a Masters in Geography from Texas State University. She is active in local GIS user groups and in teaching GIS classes to the local GIS community. Lydia has been a SCAUG member since 1996 and became an officer in 2005 as Conference Coordinator, Texas Rep. in 2006, and Co-Conference and Conference Coordinator in 2007, 2008, and 2009.
Outside of GIS Lydia enjoys camping, going to the movies or just staying at home to watch a good movie. As a Geographer she loves to travel and experience different cultures and as she phrases it “Discover Different Earth Settings”.
Betsi Chatham, GISP

Since 1999, I have been an active member of SCAUG, and have served on the SCAUG Board in the conference coordinating capacity during 2001 thru 2003, and 2008 thru 2011. I have a true and passionate understanding for the technology and people that have built this organization, and consider myself honored to be a part of the SCAUG family.
Growing up in a military family, I always found myself being introduced to new places, and as a result I constantly had questions about how the environment around me actually worked. My quest for geographic knowledge landed me a Bachelor of Arts in Geomorphology from Arizona State University in 1993 and a Masters in Applied Geography from
Southwest Texas State Universityin 1998.
My career has allowed me to map natural resources along the Texas Coastal Bend for Texas Parks & Wildlife, and provide National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System geospatial support for the City of
Dallas.
Currently, I manage the environmental GIS efforts and play an integral role in emergency preparedness and response for the City of
Fort Worth.

Anne Mackey, GISP

Anne Mackey GISP, has been involved in GIS since 1999, and received GIS Certification from Tarrant County College in 2005. She is currently employed with Tarrant County Transportation Services and has worked in the planning department since 2004. being on the ground floor of a enterprise GIS for the county has allowed Anne to evolve as a GIS professional, being integral in developing, customizing, and maintaining GIS applications for the Transportation Department and Tarrant County. Anne has been a member of SCAUG since 2006, and is proud to represent the North Texas Region this year.
Kari Page

Kari is a Geoscience Technician at Southwestern Energy Company in
Houston, Texas.
She utilizes both geology and GIS software in her position, and is tasked with data management and conversion between geologic and GIS data formats.
Kari earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology at Texas A&M University in 2004, and is currently working on a Master’s degree in Spatial Science from the Arthur Temple College of Forestry at
Stephen F. Austin State University.
Kari began utilizing GIS for the analysis of intelligence data to aid local civilian authorities in south
Texasduring an 18 month border security deployment with the Texas Military Forces. She currently serves as a Sergeant First Class in the Texas State Guard assigned as the GIS Noncommissioned Officer and is tasked with leading a team that will provide base maps for route planning, data collection, and damage reporting, for the Wide Area Damage Assessment strike teams.
Kari has been a member of SCAUG since 2008.
Darryl Williams

Darryl is a Cartographer with 31 years of service with the
U.S.
Geological Survey. Darryl currently works in the USGS, NSDI Partnership Office as the USGS Geospatial Liaison for
Oklahoma. During his many years of service with USGS, Darryl has worked in a variety of positions in mapping and geospatial operations, including developing partnership agreements that leverage USGS funds and resources with those of other agencies at all levels of government, academia, and the private sector to develop and make available geospatial data to the GIS community.
Shane Diaz

Shane Diaz currently serves as a Geospatial Applications Specialist at the Columbia Regional Geospatial Service Center (CRGSC). He is the 9-1-1 Project Manager, overseeing student workers in data development for a 12 county region. He assists in preparing, creating and maintaining geospatial data. Along with this he also provides assistance to the CRGSC on any other projects that require it.
With 12 plus years in GPS and GIS work he has helped maintain and develop survey, road, landscaping, water infiltration and 9-1-1 GIS data, as well as held positions with a number of Government agencies manipulating data in developing GIS departments. Shane has been in the field as a Rodman, Instrument Man, Crew Chief, and GPS Tech and in the office as a Draftsman, GIS Specialist, and GIS Manager. Shane had the privilege of assisting in the recovery efforts for Space Shuttle Columbia as well as developing detailed data for some of our major hurricanes. He believes in creating the best data possible to serve our citizens. Shane is an avid horseman and a committee member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, where he enjoys giving back to the students through multiple scholarship awards, as well as riding in one of the oldest trail rides to kick off the HLSR and raise awareness for multiple organizations.
Lauralee Gann

Lauralee Gann is the current Mississippi State Representative for SCAUG. Lauralee is a GIS Technician for Mendrop~Wages, LLC. in Batesville, MS for which she has worked for 8 years. Lauralee received her GIS Technician Certification from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS. Lauralee is currently pursuing her Bachelors’ degree in Geospatial Technology with an emphasis on Urban Planning and Environmental Science. Lauralee has worked actively in the field for 5 years with Mendrop~Wages, and has enjoyed moving to the Geospatial side on civil engineering. This is Lauralee’s first term as the SCAUG Mississippi representative, she also serves as the GITA Gulf South Chapter Treasurer and on the Memphis Area Geographic Information Council (MAGIC) Board of Directors. She looks forward to meeting all SCAUG members and promoting GIS usage throughout her state and the Southern Region. Lauralee lives in Batesville, Ms with her loving companion Bill.
Stacia Canaday
Stacia began working for ESRI in 2002. She is the Training Sales Consultant in the San Antonio office, handling training-related inquiries and sales. She also teaches courses focusing on geodatabases, ArcSDE technology and Microsoft SQL Server. Stacia studied geography and geology at the University of Oklahoma. After graduating, she worked at a GIS consulting company in Oklahoma City, where she was a technical marketer and taught ESRI classes as an Authorized Instructor.
Stacia’s been involved in SCAUG since 2001, both as a member and instructor of the pre- and post-conference classes. Since 2007, she has served as the ESRI representative to SCAUG. This appointed position is chosen by the SCAUG president and ESRI regional manager.
If she’s not teaching, you can usually find Stacia cheering for the Sooners, especially during college football season. She also loves to bake and has been known to bring snacks to share with her students. Her other pastimes include reading, playing with her dog and taking golf lessons from her favorite golf pro (her husband),Scott.
