October 7, 2011  - East Texas GIS & GPS User Group Meeting

The next East Texas GIS & GPS User Group meeting is October 7th on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University.  We will be meeting in the Columbia Center room 324 at 10:30.  The Columbia Center is located on the 3rd floor of the McKibben Education Building (#18 on the attached map).  Lunch will be provided at the Baker Patillo Student Center which has a varied menu of pizza, burgers, veggie meals, entrees, great salad bar, drinks, etc.  The meeting topic will be cemetery mapping techniques.

Parking passes will be available for lot 14 which is behind the library (#49 on the attached map).  Please drive to the McKibben Education Building to get your parking pass by turning off of East College between the new dorms (#27) and Hall 14 (#36) which is across the street from the east end of the Forestry building (#22).  Once you have your parking pass, park in lot 14 behind the library off of Wilson Dr.  Alternatively, you can park at the south end of the Baker Patillo Student Center for about $4 for 1/2 a day.

Please let me know by Wednesday, October 5th if you will be attending so we have an accurate head count for lunch.  Let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks!
